Sinead Brophy

Sinead Brophy is a Professor of Public Health Data Science at Swansea University Medical School, Director of the National Centre for Population Health and Well-being (Wales), Wales Regional lead of HDR UK and the Academic Lead of the Early Years research theme for ADR Wales. Her research interests focus on using routine linked data to promote healthy development, taking a life course (from pre-pregnancy, birth, to school, to work) approach to population health. She is especially interested in maternal and paternal health linked to pre-school and primary school data; this work is run through the Born In Wales research programme and the HAPPEN primary school network.
