The work of the ADR Wales team has been awarded at the 2024 ADR UK Partnership Awards.

Nominated by colleagues across the partnership, the ADR UK Partnership Awards recognise the great work and valuable contributions of the teams and individuals within the ADR UK investment.  The awards were presented during the ADR UK Partnership Meeting on 26 June, an event that brings together colleagues from across ADR UK to foster cross-partnership working.

The ADR Wales training and capacity building team responsible for the Datacise Open Learning Platform won in the ‘Most Innovative Project’ category. The team were applauded for delivering the innovative open-learning solution for users of trusted research environments from across the ADR UK partnership, and the broader administrative data research community.

In addition, previous winners the ADR Wales led pan UK, AD|ARC project received the Cross-partnership working’ award. Their award recognised the outstanding teamwork of the multidisciplinary, cross-partnership team and in particular their deployment of a strategy that has balanced the need for a harmonised, federated resource while respecting regional differences.

The awards recognise the efforts of teams and individuals who have delivered innovation and shared best practice within the ADR UK investment. This year there were 40 nominations across five award categories. ADR Wales’ Reproducible Analytical Pipelines team also reached the Awards shortlist for their work instigating a transformative programme to create reproducible analytical pipelines for uploading Welsh Government datasets to SAIL databank for research.
