Katy’s research interests lie in employment and education, industrial relations and workers’ rights. Her current work, as a Co-Academic Lead of the ADR Wales Education research theme, focuses on analysis of linked education data. Recent work has focused on the role of Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG), utilising Careers Wales’ client and survey data linked to Welsh education data, as well as examining household and parental influences on educational attainment using linked education and UK Census data.
