Lisa is Assistant Director of Research, Data and Innovation at Social Care Wales and leads their work to ensure social care practice and policy is underpinned by innovation, high-quality research, data, and other forms of evidence. She and the team work with ADR Wales and the SAIL Databank to champion the use of administrative data on social care. The team is currently working to develop the ADR Wales Social Care research theme to identify priorities and linked data research opportunities, particularly around adult social care.
Before joining Social Care Wales, Lisa spent seven years at the London School of Economics conducting comparative research on long-term care systems. Her PhD research compared the government approaches in England and Australia to improving quality in residential care for older people. Before this, Lisa spent seventeen years as a consultant and leader in customer relationship management in Australia and the UK.
