A new data linkage project called Healthy Households will investigate the make-up of households and the circumstances they experience. The project is funded by ADR UK and is led by Dr Richard Fry, Associate Professor of Environment and Health at Swansea University and ADR Wales academic co-lead of the ADR Wales Climate Change, Social Justice and Health and Well-being research themes.
The project aims to create a research-ready dataset on the long-term health conditions and social outcomes within and between different types of households. The de-identified dataset will link housing data with other administrative data for England, Scotland and Wales.
Conducting analyses at a household level will enable researchers to explore policy-relevant questions around households and their interactions with public services.
